Our story begins in 2019 when Joe Hooker got his first hive. What started as a hobby quickly became a passion and shortly after Homegrown Honey was born. Located in Cherry Hill New Jersey, we provide raw local wildflower honey that is never heated or filtered. From hive to bottle it remains raw and pure with all nutrients, enzymes and pollen- just as the bees intended. 

Through honey sales we are able to care for our bees. From frames and hives to treatments for pests like the varroa mite, which is the primary causes of honey bee colony collapse. When you buy honey from a beekeeper, not only are you ensuring that you receive real honey without added sugars, you can feel good about doing so- knowing that you are directly contributing to the care and wellbeing of the bees that made it for you!
